About King’s College Taunton, Somerset:

King’s College is an independent co-educational secondary day and boarding school in Taunton, Somerset. A member school of the Woodard Corporation, it has approximately 450 pupils aged 13 to 18, including about 300 boarders. Its affiliated prep school is King’s Hall School

One of the most remarkable parts of the school is the Chapel, built from 1903 and designed by W. E. Tower. The Chapel was a project of the school Provost, Prebendary Henry Meynell.

King’s College occupies a secluded and beautiful site of over 80 acres on the south side of Taunton, and just a few minutes from the town centre. The main building is an outstanding example of nineteenth-century architecture, and the School Chapel is a striking blend of ancient and modern.

Buildings have been added continuously since the school was founded, resulting in a campus rich in interesting architecture and boasting generous, world-class facilities for learning, sport, the creative arts and boarding.
